Olympia Otters Swim Team
We are a competitive recreational summer swim team located in the Olympia Hills neighborhood of Universal City, Texas.
We are a part of the Maverick Summer Swim League (MSSL) which includes 24 other summer swim teams in the greater San Antonio area. Our season is 8 weeks long.
Our Mission Statement
- To ensure a safe swim environment for all swim team members
- To foster a love of swimming and community by developing good sportsmanship, exceptional work ethic, and team spirit
- To promote swimming as a valuable lifelong sport which will help develop the healthy physical and emotional well-being of each swimmer
- To provide a quality training program for all skill levels that will improve the technical ability of each swimmer

2026 Registration Fees
If your family is a member of the Olympia Neighborhood Association, you pay member registration rates. Non-member registration rates are for families outside of Olympia. The extra fee goes to the association to pay for the facility use.

MSSL Scholarship
MSSL UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP
The Maverick Summer Swim League gives at least two annual $500 university scholarships to deserving athlete scholars who have been upstanding members of our organization. The recipients provide leadership and are great role models to the younger swimmers on their teams. See the application for qualifications in order to apply.
Completed applications are accepted from March 1st - May 31st to the MSSL University Scholarship Committee. Winners are announced NLT June 15th each year.
